Long-serving defender Beth Jones, who has been with Pride Park since joining as a junior in 2005, was presented with a commemorative trophy before Sunday’s game against Wirksworth after clocking up her 50th senior appearance in the game at Sandiacre Town last month.
Despite having played in the Ladies’ team’s inaugural season in 14/15, making her senior debut in our first open age game against Belper in September 2014, she was only able to make a handful of appearances in the three years she was away at University, and took a year out of football, re-joining us for the 2018/19 season. Beth has chipped in with 7 goals in her 50 games.
