It’s not been easy but we’ve come up with a shortlist!

Players and supporters get their chance to vote for the Ladies Player of the Month (POTM) for October, from a shortlist compiled by the team management.

October was a mixed month results-wise, with 2 wins, 2 defeats and a draw in five games. Despite a number of absentees, however, performances have been encouraging and selecting a shortlist from those five games has been extremely difficult, with several players having cases to be included but missing out this time. Based on performances across those five games, our contenders for POTM are:

Beth Jones
Defender turned emergency striker Beth played in 4 of the 5 games, scoring 6 goals, including a first open age hat-trick in Sunday’s Cup replay at Shirebrook.

Tash Allderidge
October was a good month for Tash with a return of 5 goals and 4 assists. The standard of Tash’s deliveries from corners has also been very high and is contributing to our increased returns from set-pieces.

Eliot Sayavong
Eliot put in constantly good performances, provides us with a solid platform in midfield, breaking up opposition attacks, is calm and composed on the ball, and weighed in with a goal and 3 assists in October.

Rachel Weaver
Whether filling in at centre back or in her preferred role at left back, Rachel has set a high standard in the first 5 games, reading the game well, showing excellent decision making and good in possession - with the added bonus of a goal last Sunday

Voting takes less than a minute, and can be done HERE

Voting will close on at 20:00 on Friday, with the winner being announced shortly afterwards.
