IMPROVING GIRLS IN BATTLING PERFORMANCE

The under 12 Girls are showing signs of progress and did exceptionally well today, in a battling and determined performance against Outwoods Swans.

The girls’ workrate and determination was amazing to see and they were rewarded with a goalless first half. Unfortunately, they couldn’t quite get the result but only lost the game in the last ten minutes.

Nevertheless, with so many new players it will take a little time for the team to come together, but the early signs are very promising. It’s really pleasing to see the girls’ hard work over the last few weeks starting to come to fruition on the pitch; all the girls were getting stuck in today, weren’t afraid to try new things on the pitch, and showed some creativity with a free kick too!

The girls have had some tough fixtures to start the season, but are improving and if they continue to work hard in training and maintain their progress, the results will come!
