PLAY YOUR PART AND SUPPORT THE FA’s CODE OF RESPECT.
When playing football I will:
- Always play my best for the benefit of the team
- Play fairly and be friendly
- Play by the rules and respect the Referee
- Shake hands with the other team – win or lose
- Listen carefully to what my coach/team manager tells me
- Understand that a coach has to do what’s best for the team
- Talk to someone I trust or the club welfare officer if I am unhappy about anything at my club
- Encourage my teammates
- Respect the facilities home and away
- Be punctual at all times and give my coach/manager as much notice as possible when I will not be available for training or matches.
- Wear at the kit supplied all times for the activity being attended
- Wear shin pads for both playing and training.
- Look after the kit supplied and keep it well laundered and in good condition. I will report any wear to the team manager. Return kit when I leave the club
- Always inform the coach or manager if I have an injury.
- Not wear jewellery of any kind at training or in matches.
I understand that if do not follow the Code, I may:
- Be asked to apologise to whoever I’ve upset
- Receive a formal warning
- Be dropped, substituted or suspended from training
- Be required to leave the club
