Maja Znamirowska completed 100 appearances for The Pride in the Derbyshire County FA Women’s Plate semi-final against Woodlands on 24th March, and was presented with a glass shield before Sunday’s DGLL Challenge Cup semi-final.

Maja first appeared for The Pride on 3rd April 2016 in a League game against Ashbourne, coming on as a first half substitute and scoring twice. The team’s joker, Maja is the Club’s all-time leading goal scorer with 110 League and Cup goals to date.

Originally from Gdynia on the Polish Baltic coast, Maja moved from Derby to Liverpool a few years ago but, despite trying a couple of local teams after relocating, she felt so at home with her friends at The Pride, that despite the distance she has continued to play for the team:)
