Due to the increase in demand for playing opportunities over the past twelve months and the success of the Women’s First Team, Pride Park FC are planning to launch a Women’s Development Squad for the 2024/25 season.

A Development squad will enable us to provide playing opportunities for more players, whether:

established players looking for a fresh challenge,
those looking to return to playing after a break,
stepping up from U18 football into Open Age women’s football, or
wishing to progress from recreational „Just Play” sessions

and will also provide playing opportunities in the rehabilitation of players returning from injury.

In the longer term, the Women's Development Team will provide a bridge into open age football from our junior teams and, ultimately, a pathway into our First team.

The Development Squad will be based alongside our established First team at Moorways Sports Village DE24 9HY with the aim of playing in the Derbyshire Ladies League from the 2024/2025 season.

Pride Park FC offer a friendly atmosphere, full club support, FA Licensed and DBS checked coaches, a family and community ethos, plus excellent facilities including, from next winter, a FIFA Grade artificial turf pitch.
