Pride Park FC have teamed up with the FA to deliver GIRLS ONLY football coaching sessions at Moorways Stadium, as part of the FA’s SSE Wildcats initiative.

The sessions take place every Tuesday from 6-7pm on the all-weather pitches at Moorways Stadium, Allenton, Derby and provide a safe environment where girls can try football for the first time.

The Pride Park SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Centre is intended to provide girls aged 5-11 with regular opportunities to play football. The initiative offers organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment created exclusively for girls and delivered by FA qualified coaches, including the Derbyshire FA Coach of the Year, Lizzie Pacey!

There’s already been a good response with a group of girls enjoying the sessions, but we have capacity to accommodate more!

SSE, The FA and Pride Park FC hope the initiative will inspire girls to engage with football, meet new friends, develop fundamental skills, learn new things and create the foundation for a lifelong love of football.
