Pride Park’s Ladies are back at Moorways on Sunday for a crucial League fixture against 3rd placed Wirksworth Colts.

Wirksworth Colts has been in the Derbyshire Ladies League since 2009, and after a period of to and fro-ing between Divisions early on, have been in Division 1 for the last eight seasons. They are the current League Champions and have started this season strongly with six wins in six League games so far.

The teams have enjoyed some epic encounters, notably at the end of the 2017/18 season when they played each other in the last four games of the season - the first two being the League Cup and Challenge Cup Finals, won by Wirksworth 3-1 and 2-1 respectively, before Pride won in the League 7-1 to clinch runners up spot, and the season was concluded with a crazy 6-6 draw!

The game is at Moorways Sports Village, Moor Lane, DE24 9HY and kicks off at 1.30pm.
There is covered seating available for spectators in the grandstand and ample car parking. Car parking restrictions are not enforced on match days. Refreshments are available from the cafeteria in the main Pool building just across the car park. Please note only officials and players are permitted beyond the railings/gate in front of the grandstand and dogs are not permitted on site.
