After a series of tournaments in June and early July, the 1st team's pre-season programme gets underway in earnest with two opponents from the Nottinghamshire league, starting with a visit to Eastwood & Kimberley on Sunday 20th July and to Calverton Miners Welfare the following week.

In August the preparations for the new season ramp up with five games including four against Regional League sides. West Bridgford are the visitors to Moorways on 3rd August. There’s a chance to renew some old acquaintances with a visit to Allexton & New Parks in Leicester the following week, and on 17th August we’re on the road again as we visit Asfordby Amateurs.

Preparations conclude with two home games, against Arnold Eagles on 24th August and Long Eaton United on 31st August.

It promises to be a challenging programme against strong opposition and should provide the team with good preparation for the new season.
