Rather than pick out a single player’s efforts in the matches played in February, the „Boss Ball” Award is being dusted off to recognise the efforts of the 10 players that started the DCFA Plate quarter-final (click to read match report) on 19th February and, despite going down to 9 and then 8 players through injuries were only a minute away from going through to the semi-final.

It is impossible to single out any one player from what was a superb collective effort - every single one of those players showed commitment to the team and to each other, truly worked hard, and against the odds very nearly pulled off what would have been a remarkable result.
