Division 2 has been reduced to six teams following the failure of Derby Athletic to complete the League process. As a consequence, the league will run a secondary (additional) Cup competition to enable teams of both divisions to play further fixtures. Details of the secondary Cup competition will be published at a later date

The Ladies' opening fixture is on Sunday 10th September, in the Challenge Shield against Mickleover Sports.

Fixtures can be scheduled every Sunday thereafter until the end of May 2018, with the exception of 24th and 31st December, and 1st April.
