The Derbyshire Ladies League fixtures for 2025/26 have been released - and following yesterday’s Women’s FA Cup draw the initial fixture schedules for our 1st and Development teams have been confirmed.

Our 1st team will get their season underway in the Women’s FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round on Sunday 7th September when they face Nottingham Trent University of the East Midlands Regional League (Tier 6)

A challenging start to the season continues a week later with a trip to last season’s third placed team, Wirksworth Colts.

September is completed with visits to Moorways from newly promoted Matlock Town on 21st September and another team that will be new to the League this season, Long Eaton United’s Development side, on 28th September.

The 1st team will come up against the other newcomers to Division 1 for the first time against Buxton (19/10), Chesterfield Development (2/11) and Castle Donington (16/11).

The fixtures as currently scheduled conclude with a home fixture against Castle Donington on 1st February - but cup commitments and postponements will undoubtedly result in multiple fixtures being rescheduled*.

The Development team kick off their season with a home League game against Division 3 newcomers Codnor Sports Vixens at Moorways on 7th September, and the following week visit another newcomer, Derwent FC. September is completed with a trip to Ashbourne on 21st followed hosting Bakewell at Moorways on 28th. The first tranche of Development team fixtures concludes with a visit to Gresley Rovers on 30th Nov.

*Derbyshire League Cups will be played on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Derbyshire Women’s County Cup games will be played on the following dates:
