The final goal of the month for this season is drawn from the final game of the season played in the first week of May - so instead of a public vote, we asked a panel to select the best goals out of four selected from that final game.

The shortlist of contenders were:

A - Beth Jones
Winning possession back on the edge of our area the ball was played forward by Daisy to Beth who turns the ball on and shows th defenders a clean pair of heels before steering there ball wide of the keeper from the edge of the area

B - Beth Jones
Another attack broken up on the edge of our penalty area to regain possession, Tash Allderidge’s through ball is timed to perfection Beth Jones is away and runs through - opening up her body to slot past the keeper

C - Sophie Ayton
Only just on as a substitute, Sophie’s run pulled her clear of her marker and she got up to steer her header inside the far post from Tash Allderidge’s pinpoint corner.

D - Steph Eadon
Tash down the line for Beth who skips around defenders challenge - it looks like the ball might run out of play but she does well to get to it and dig out a high hanging cross - in the meantime Steph Eadon has done well to keep up with play and is in the centre to meet the cross and and direct her header wide of the keeper.
