JAGUARS GET KIT "SPORTED"

David Kwiatek29 Jan - 15:45

The u12 Jaguars are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Barclays Community Sport Fund, being delivered in partnership with Sported.

The grant has been used to fund a kit for the u12 Jaguars and to help with the cost of winter training. The kit has been supplied by the club's kit partner, TAG Sportswear, based in Burton on Trent.

James Cunningham, u12 team manager said: “We’re delighted to reveal our new match day kit. It represents the club, our team, and the pride the players have every time they step out to play. The players have shown real dedication and progress this season, and this new kit is a fitting reward as we continue to build together

We would also like to say a huge thank you to Sported, who have kindly provided the funding for this kit. Their support makes a real difference at grassroots level, helping us provide opportunities for young players, keep the game accessible, and ensure football remains affordable for families.”

U12 player Amber says that she “loves the new team sponsorship logo - it goes well with club colours. Amber is glad that it is connected to sport and the sense of belonging to a grassroots team.”

Another of the players, Rose, said she's "really happy that we’ve got a new kit. The new design and updated badge look fantastic".

The Barclays Community Sport Fund offers grants, training and support resources to help reduce inequalities in sport – with a focus on football, tennis and cricket.

The fund supports community groups and grassroots sports organisations (like ours) who make sport more accessible to young people from underrepresented groups.

Sported is a charity which delivers expertise, resources and vital support to clubs and groups that use sport and physical activity to make a positive impact on young people – and on communities – throughout the UK.
