Congratulations to u9 Pumas Coach Michael Dean on completing the FA’s Introduction to Coaching, the first formal step on the FA's Coach Education pathway. Completing this step enables Mike to formally take over the Pumas from Paul Randle, who returns to focus on our Wildcats group and starting up our next new team(s).

The FA Introduction to Coaching, which has replaced the Level 1 in Coaching Football, is the first stage in the journey to becoming a football coach, and helps new coaches create a safe, fun, and positive football environment, gain confidence and start to develop their own coaching style. The course blends live webinars, e-learning, community support and a range of resources to provide candidates with the skills to coach players of all ages, and encompasses disability football, Respect, Safeguarding Children, and First Aid in Football.
