PLAYER AND MATCH SPONSORSHIPS AT #THEPRIDE

Women’s football is growing fast and attracting lots of attention nationally and locally - our website now attracts almost 30,000 page views (and growing) a year. Pride Park is an established local community club with an increasingly diverse membership. Sponsorship is a great way to show your support for women’s football in the local community.

Our 1st (Ladies) team originated as our first junior Girls team and are now in their 9th season in adult football, playing in Division 1 of the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League.

We’re pleased to be able to offer sponsorship of the team’s players and matches with a range of options available, from one match up to the whole season (and more when if the remainder of this season is included in the mix) in return for a comprehensive package of benefits including:

1. An announcement of your sponsorship on our website (440+ subscribers) and social media pages (Twitter 1,200+ followers, FB 570+ followers, Instagram 210+ followers)
2. Your name or company name/logo and bio featured on the club’s website alongside your chosen player’s profile and on our sponsors’ page. This can include a click-through link to your website (or social media such as Facebook) to help increase awareness of your business.
3. Early Bird offer: Player sponsorships taken out now will start immediately - so for the remainder of the 22/23 season and all of the 23/24 season, making this particularly good value!
4. Social media posts related to each game/player including sponsorship recognition
5. Report of Sponsored matches and match highlights on our website (and social media) including sponsorship recognition
6. The opportunity to have your photo taken with the player/team (if desired)
7. Guaranteed seat at home fixtures
8. Invitation to the end-of-season awards
9. For multiple game match sponsorship packages, there’s also opportunities for a child to be a mascot on matchday and for an individual player „sponsorship” to be included.

We believe sponsorship is a two-way partnership, so we ensure that we give value for money and give back to our supporters to ensure mutual benefit from the partnership.

All funds raised through player and match sponsorship are invested directly in the team, and in particular in technology to help with coaching and player development and to help keep player subscriptions affordable.

Explaining the impact the sponsorships will have, Captain of the Ladies team, Tash Allderidge, said: „As players we pay monthly subscriptions but the club tries to keep these as affordable as possible to avoid barriers to participation. However, our subscriptions and fund-raising activities only cover the team’s day-to-day costs, so sponsorship like this enables us to invest in technology to help us develop as players. It wouldn’t be possible otherwise, so we really appreciate this support!”
