The latest batch of „graduates” from our Wildcats sessions - our new under 8 Pumas - played their first game on Monday; a friendly against Melbourne under 8s.

The Pumas started the game well, in spite of any „opening night nerves” they might have had! We changed the team around so to bring on other team players and ensure everyone had an opportunity. The overall performance was great with each girl doing their best, in their first outing as a team.

Michael and I enjoyed watching the girls play well, and we were encouraged by how the girls played. It’s an important first step, has given us some ideas for things to work on, and most importantly the girls gelled from the start and looked excellent. Well done, Pumas!
