Our 1st team will be competing in the Women’s FA Cup, Derbyshire FA County Cups and in the Derbyshire Ladies League and Cup competitions this season. It’s a great time to be involved in women’s football - after the success of England’s Lionesses in the Euros, the profile of the women’s game has never been higher!

One of the easiest and most affordable ways to support the team is for businesses or individuals to sponsor a player for the season.

You can choose a player (or players, of course!) from our 1st team or we can suggest one for you, and in return, other than that satisfied glow that comes from helping support The Pride, you will get your name or company name on the website

We can even arrange for you to have your photo taken with your chosen player.

You can sponsor a player for as little as £30. Sponsor three players for £75. As a player sponsor you will receive in return:

• Your name or company name/logo featured on the club’s website alongside your chosen player’s profile and on our sponsors’ page for the 2025/26 season. This can include a click-through link to your website (or social media such as Facebook) to help increase awareness of your business.
• An announcement of your sponsorship on our website (450+ subscribers and 26,000 views annually) and social media (2,500 followers).
• A Player graphic on social media with your name and logo – and posts through the season
including sponsorship recognition
• The opportunity to have your photo taken with your sponsored player (if desired)
• Invitation to the end-of-season awards

All funds raised through player and match sponsorship are invested directly in the team, and in particular in technology to help with coaching and player development.

Explaining the impact of this sponsorship, Captain of the Ladies team, Tash Collyer, says;
„As players we pay monthly subscriptions but the club tries to keep these as low as possible to avoid barriers to participation. However, our subscriptions only cover the team’s day-to-day costs, so fund-raising activities and sponsorship like this enables us to continue to make this investment and to help us develop as players. It wouldn’t be possible otherwise, so any support you can give will be really appreciated!”
