The girls set about their business in their normal fast, energetic fashion and dominated the first half, with Bella and Erin combining well, Bella going close, Erin flashing a shot wide and Millie coming close with an effort from long range when she spotted the keeper off her line.

Umayyah, Ivy and Tayla had been ensuring Pumas remained solid with Dela, Bella, Millie and Sophie all providing a great barrier but also being creative where they could. Lily pulled off a great save from a free kick towards the end of the half.

Heanor came out strongly for the second half but the girls continued battling away with Bella T, now in goal, pulling off a terrific save. Bella had a couple of efforts go just wide and the girls started to tire with the additional 10 minutes they now play.

Millie was our player of the match.

U8 Panthers
The under 8 fixtures get underway next Saturday.

The Panthers play their opening fixture next Saturday (13th) against Chellaston Lionesses, whilst the Pumas take on Doveridge Yews.
