The Pumas in the first half soaked up some pressure as the opposition were probing but taking shots from range; Lily in goal made a couple of good stops and Ivy made a goal saving interception, but Umayyah, Ivy and Tayla in the backline were dealing with the threats well.

Bella, Dela, Mini and Enya in midfield were working hard and, towards the later stages of the first half, they started to get forward more and started to get into dangerous positions.

Bella had a pop from range which went just wide and Erin had a shot which the keeper turned around for a corner. Erin and Sophie worked hard up front against a team which at one stage went three at the back against our solo forward.

The girls got caught out with a corner at the start of the second half but they got stronger and stronger as the game went on and started to ask some questions of a defence that looked worried when we went forward.

Dela was driving the midfield forward, Bella, Mini and Enya were trying to find Erin and Sophie with through balls. As the game reached its conclusion, Little Eaton cleared our corner, Ivy ran back and made a challenge, the ball found its way to Bella who played the ball to Dela and she hit a brilliant shot from the edge of the box.

Eleven terrific performances from the girls with Dela being named a worthy player of the match.
