U9 Pride Park Panthers v Willington
The first game of the season - and what a game it was! The girls gave absolutely everything from the first whistle to the last. Both teams had plenty of the ball, created chances and got plenty of shots away in a fantastic game of football. ⚽️

The girls showed fantastic character and determination and were playing some brilliant football as a team.

⭐Sofia relentlessly threatened the opposition's backline and made every single moment on the pitch count.

⭐ Matilda was fantastic in midfield, controlling the ball, moving it around the pitch and creating chances for her teammates.

⭐ Serayah was a rock at the back, making some brilliant tackles and breaking up Willington’s attacks.

⭐Emily worked incredibly hard up front

⭐ Priya never stopped running, showing fantastic energy and determination throughout.

⭐Edith put in a great defensive shift, making some excellent tackles and stopping attacks before they could develop.

❤️ Unfortunately, Paisley had to leave the game due to illness, but she had already worked really hard up front and gave everything for the team.

So many positives to take from the first game of the season!

The teamwork, determination, battling spirit and never-give-up attitude were fantastic to see. Every single girl should be incredibly proud of herself.

A massive well done, girls! You gave it everything and showed exactly what this team is all about. ⚽️
