Pride Park U9 Panthers v Rocester Juniors

What an unbelievable game of football! We found ourselves facing a tough challenge early on, but the team showed true grit, determination, and team spirit to fight their way back into the game before half-time.

The girls came out flying in the second half and dominated the play, getting a well-deserved reward for their relentless effort near the end. We continued to push, press, and put the pressure on right until the final whistle!

Ben and Sofia both showed great composure in front of goal but every single girl showed up today and put in an absolutely outstanding performance. The heart, determination and togetherness they showed were there for everyone to see. We couldn't be prouder of them!

Players of the Match: Matilda & Diana

Matilda was outstanding defensively, showing her true ability with some fantastic defensive work and key passes that helped drive the team forward.

Diana, yet again, was incredible in goal, making her presence felt throughout the game and was unlucky not to get herself on the scoresheet today!

Before the game, I said, Let's make this a great game for Diana to sign off on, and the girls certainly delivered.

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say this was an emotional farewell game for Diana. Seeing how far she has come since joining us has been truly special, and she should be incredibly proud of everything she has achieved.

An incredible team performance, a fantastic comeback and a fitting send-off. We are so proud of every single one of you, girls!
