u8 Panthers v Heanor
Everyone of the girls worked hard in getting the ball back and getting their heads up - looking for the pass and to see if there was a shot on.
Special thanks to Elsie going in goal for all the first half and Diana going in goal for all the second half, two excellent performances from them
Paisley got a well deserved player of the match with her non stop tackling and running in midfield.
Well played girls. One more game before Christmas

U11 Pumas v Heanor
Facing a tough Heanor team the girls had to be at their best. After a cautious start with two teams trying to work each other out, the girls started to get into their passing game and were starting to get into good positions and trying to create chances which due to some really good defensive work by Heanor were hard to come by.
The Heanor keeper though got down smartly to keep Enya out, Bella was unlucky with an effort that went wide and Sophie had a shot from distance which the keeper saved. From an indirect free kick Mini and Bella worked a plan for Bella to hit a terrific shot. Erin had a good run which brought a corner that then led to a succession of corners.
Heanor in turn mounted attacks but Tayla, Ivy and Umayyah in defence were defending well to try to keep them away from Lily’s goal. In midfield, Bella, Millie, Mini, Sophie, Dela and Erin were as always covering every blade of grass backing up their defence but also pushing on at every opportunity. Enya, Sophie and Erin were causing problems upfront.
A brilliant and quite even game to watch and a good, determined, gritty performance from the Pumas. The girls all gave solid performances but our player of the match award went to Umayyah for a faultless defensive performance
