Report of our u11 Pumas and u8 Panthers games played yesterday

U11 Pumas v Woodlands
This proved to be a tight game for the Pumas in which for a large part they struggled to get into their groove. Despite this they found another gear towards the end and really started to camp in the Woodlands half.

Enya was named of player of the match this week.

U8 Panthers v Alvaston
Was the old phrase of a game of two halves. Our girls faced a very physical team, taking us by surprise and requiring a little time to adapt.

The girls showed a brilliant performance in the second half with some slick passing and some outstanding challenges and desire to get the ball back.

Diana was outstanding in goals yet again. Ben had a terrific effort and Elsie, Paisley and Priya were very close to scoring and deserved a goal each.

Emily showed a great captain's performance with non stop battling and willing to get the ball back. Esme was a rock, yet again in midfield. But a well deserved player of the match went to Matilda. She was incredible all over the pitch with her tackles, passing and work rate.

We keep going and get stronger as a team
