TEAM TALK | MIN-SOCCER ROUND UP

Report from our mini-soccer teams games played on Saturday

U8 Panthers v Doveridge
The Panthers delivered one of their strongest performances of the season on Saturday, in a match that showed real progress and determination. From the opening whistle, the girls controlled possession well and moved the ball confidently, playing with composure and teamwork.

Esme made an exceptional debut and was a constant threat going forward. Every time she received the ball, she drove fearlessly at the defence, creating chances and earning Player of the Match for her outstanding display. She was unlucky not to cap her performance with a goal.

In midfield, Matilda worked tirelessly to break up play and transition the team forward, often winning possession and distributing quickly. Sofa and Priya provided relentless energy, supporting both defence and attack with consistent running throughout the game. Elsa and Paisley showed great determination to win the ball back and push the team forward, while Diana anchored the defence with strong, dependable tackling.

The Panthers can be incredibly proud of their performance. The teamwork, resilience, and commitment shown by every player were clear for all to see — a performance that promises exciting things ahead.

u11 Pumas v Doveridge
The Pumas started as they meant to go on and were at their opponents with Bella, Erin and Enya all coming close and some near perfect passes just being missed in front of goal.

The Doveridge keeper was in fine form, making some magnificent saves and catching the ball where she could and from our point, causing us huge frustration in front of goal; she made a string of excellent saves - the best to deny Bella whose effort looked destined for the roof of the net, only for the keeper to tip it onto the bar.

Bella was our player of the match after an all action performance in midfield.
