The Derbyshire Girls’ League fixtures are out and have been uploaded to our website: you can find the fixtures for your team on your team’s fixtures page:

The fixtures on the Pride Park website have been uploaded from the League’s online fixture schedule, but are not automatically updated on our website. The League publishes fixtures, including any changes, at https://www.gotfootball.co.uk/events/?EventID=4438

The opening games are on Sat 10th September. There are no fixtures over the Christmas/New Year period.

A few important things for coaches, players and parents to remember:

the league can change fixtures (venue, opponent, kick off time) at any point up to five days prior to the fixture...
even if no fixture is currently listed for any date, it's safest to assume there will be one and...
cup fixtures will be added by the League at a later date
fixtures are likely to extend beyond the current published final date, once postponements, cup games etc are factored in
there’s no automatic update of fixtures on our website - it relies on team reps/admins or managers to spot fixture changes and update the website
if you will be unavailable for a game, please inform your team manager as soon as you know - don’t assume you will be the only player that isn’t available! This is important because of the next point.....
teams must give the League a minimum of 28 days notice to request a “bye week” (no fixture), otherwise there’s a £100 fine (all teams) and additionally a 3 point deduction (u12 age group and above)

In order to be eligible to play in the first fixtures on Saturday 10th September, players must be registered and verified by the League by Friday 2nd September. Virtually all players have now registered and had their registration verified by the League - any that have not, have been notified (several times) and reminded to compete the online registration form. Unfortunately, if you haven’t completed it by Friday 2nd September, your team manager will be unable to select you for the game on 10th September.
