After a break of 3 years the Derbyshire Womens County Cup is returning this season, and with a new sponsor - the Cawarden County Cup First Round draw was held earlier today:

Belper Town Dev v Ashbourne
Borrowash Victoria v Sandiacre Town
Hilton Harriers v Chesterfield
Ilkeston Town v Allenton Utd
Mickleover Sports v Amber Valley
Wirksworth Colts v University of Derby

The first round ties are to be played on Sunday 16th October. Pride Park, together with Belper Town and Draycott Victoria received byes to the second round.

National League sides Long Eaton Utd and Derby County enter the competition at the third round.
