Kyle and Mark have already hit the ground running, overseeing the squad’s opening pre-season training sessions and our first two friendlies.
Kyle brings a wealth of experience, a proven track record of success, and a deeply rooted passion for player development to Moorways, having coached extensively within girls' and women's football environments in the East Midlands. His ambition and leadership approach perfectly align with the club's core ethos, making him the ideal fit to lead the team into its next chapter.
An Impressive Track Record
Kyle’s previous roles include successful spells with Woodlands Girls and Women and, most recently, leading Ilkeston Town U18s. While achieving results on the pitch is a clear strength, Kyle’s primary focus remains on long-term player development—enhancing individual performance and supporting clear player pathways. This commitment is evidenced by his record of helping players under his charge progress into elite environments
Strengthening the Backroom Staff
Kyle will be joined in the dugout by Mark Adey, who steps into the role of First Team Coach.
Mark brings a proven track record of collaborative success, having previously coached across various age groups at Woodlands. In addition to his on-the-pitch coaching credentials, Mark is a former chairperson of Woodlands FC, demonstrating a profound, long-standing commitment to the local women’s and girl’s game.
A Shared Vision for the Future
Reflecting on his appointment and his first few sessions on the training pitch, the new manager expressed an immediate connection to the club's culture: "Pride Park FC’s identity, strong community connection, and ambition within the women's football pyramid are particularly appealing to me," Kyle said. "The team's record last season showed they are already a good team, but the aim is to build on that previous success and help the squad and individuals develop further. I am incredibly motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, support continued progression, and contribute to a club with a clear development ethos."
Kyle added that he has been encouraged by what he has seen from the squad so far, praising the high standard of effort during the early weeks of pre-season: "I love the energy, commitment, and willingness to get stuck in."
Please join us in giving a warm Pride Park welcome to Kyle and Mark!
