The opening draws for the 2026–27 Women’s FA Cup were released on Friday, handing Pride Park an exciting away trip in the Preliminary Round on Sunday 23 August. The Pride will travel to Peterborough to face Netherton United, an established Regional League side - one of 143 Preliminary Round ties across the country.

Should Pride Park advance, a second consecutive away tie awaits in the First Round Qualifying on Sunday 6 September 2026, where the winners of the Preliminary Round will face the winner of Allexton & New Parks vs Sherwood. There are 102 ties First Round Qualifying ties.

Searching for a Historic First Cup Win
This year’s tie carries extra incentive for the squad: although they have played in 1st Round qualifying before, Pride Park will be searching for their first-ever victory in the Women's FA Cup.

A total of 534 clubs from across the nation have entered this season’s prestigious knockout tournament.
