The Ladies return to league action this Sunday with a trip to the New Manor Ground, home of Ilkeston Town Ladies.

Ilkeston were promoted last season - their first at Open Age - as runners up in Div 2, with a combination of high scoring and a miserly defence, form they have brought to Division 1 with a win and draw in their two games to date, scoring 10 and conceding only 1.

The highlight of their results so far this season is the 9-0 defeat inflicted on Mickleover Sports in September's league game, a result reversed by Sports in the Challenge Cup in October.

The teams have never met in competition before, although in a pre-season friendly a little over a year ago Ilkeston came out 6-3 winners.

Emma Taylor remains a long term injury, and there will be late assessments of the fitness of Maja and Sophie following illness and injury respectively.
