The Ladies play Hasland Ladies in the Challenge Cup semi-final this Sunday, their third semi-final of the season, and will be attempting to progress to a second cup final.
Hasland’s route to the final included a 1-0 defeat of Derby County Ladies Foundation team in the first round, before a walkover against Mickleover Sports in the quarter-final.
Pride Park Ladies come into the final having beaten Belper Town in the first round (6-2), and Matlock Town (5-0) in the
quarter-final.
The teams have not met this season, Pride Park are currently 3rd and Hasland are 6th in Division 1. In six previous meetings Hasland have the upper hand, having won four times, with one game drawn and Pride Park winning once.
The game is to be played at Cavendish Fields, Bent Lane, Matlock. Kick off is at 1.30pm
The game will be decided on the day - if scores are level after 90 minutes there will be extra time and, if required, penalties to determine who meets Wirksworth Colts in the final on 29th April.
In the event the game has to be postponed it will be rescheduled for next Wednesday, 18th April, to kick off at 7-00pm.
