Our opponents
Draycott Victoria joined the DGLL in season 2018/19 after voluntarily resigning from the East Midlands Regional League at the end of the previous season. In their first season in the DGLL they finished 3rd, before taking the League title in 2020/21 and 2021/22, collecting Cup Final wins along the way, before finishing 5th last season.

Draycott’s home pitch is at Draycott Parish Playing Field, and they play in pink shirts, black shorts and socks.

Facts and Stats
There was an epic game between the teams in the equivalent fixture last season, with a literal last kick-of-the-game stunner by Beth Jones earning a deserved point for the Pride.

Aside from a defeat to current Champions Wirksworth, Draycott have won all their other League games and sit on top with 22 points from 9 games, 6 points ahead of Pride who have 2 games in hand - otherwise the teams have almost identifical records.

Poised in third and fifth respectively, with games in hand on the top two, however, are Wirksworth who remain unbeaten in their five League games to date, and Borrowash Victoria whose only defeat was to the Pride.

The game is at the Draycott Parish Playing Field, off Gertrude Road, Draycott DE72 3NW and kicks off at 1.30pm. There will be a pitch inspection on Sunday morning.
