A GREAT TEAM PERFORMANCE

On a sunny autumn morning, this was good game with both teams playing good competitive football in the right spirit. Led by their captain, Violet, Pride Park worked together to get the ball into Melbourne Dynamo's half and pressed attack after attack. Despite numerous shots from a number of different players and good positioning, Pride Park just couldn't find the back of the net. Melbourne Dynamos took their opportunities well on the break and despite some good defending from the girls, Melbourne Dynamos used their skills to their fullest and scored. Pride Park kept their heads up throughout and were rewarded with two great goals from Polly and Yumi. Whilst this was a strong team effort, the Manager's Player of the week is awarded to Yumi for her approach and stamina in training and the match. Well played girls!
