A hard fought game on a pitch that didn’t allow us to play our normal game, we had to dig deep with some players out with injuries and playing in unfamiliar positions we worked for each other to secure the win.

Pride park were unlucky not to take the lead in the first half with Evie’s calmly taken penalty which somehow didn’t find the back of the net with a combination of crossbar and the keepers head keeping it out.

Captain Sayles for the game controlled the game from midfield putting in a PoTM performance and driving the team forward.

The breakthrough came with a driving run from Lara from CB to RW putting a cross in which Rhi flicked on and Evie slotted nicely into the bottom corner.

More chances keep coming with Paige missing by close range by a great save from the keeper.
