With a crazy unpredictable weather conditions Pride Park Devs took an early lead with with Evie finding the back of the next after just 4' into the game.

Setting off the tone this was a perfect start despite the weather Pride Park controlled much of the first half as we went into the break at 1-0

We carried on that momentum into the second half with 2 well taken goals from Rhi just minutes apart taking Pride Park Devs to a comfortable 3-0 lead, there was some excellent attacking play including great link up work between Tam, Heather & Captain Sophie causing problems for the Matlock defence, we kept creating chance after chance but couldn't find that finish - a few questionable off sides from the Matlock lino.

After some panic from Pride Park, Matlock took their chances and pulling back 2 quick goals, despite the panic both teams played some really good football at times showing quality and commitment, however Pride Park showed resilience under the pressure and Evie sealing the deal to take it to 4-2.

PoTM - Evie & Rhi, combining brilliantly throughout the game, both players scoring 2 goals each and combined three assists between them.
