PPFC's U13 are developing every week, creating their own team spirit and playing with real determination.
Right from the kick-off, this was a relatively even game, but with PPFC creating some clear opportunities and only narrowly missing out on scoring the winning goal as Hope's effort on goal was prevented in a last ditch effort by Duffield's keeper. PPFC worked hard throughout, full of energy, tackling, winning fifty-fifty balls and attacking, epitomised by Scarlett who sprinted all the way to our box to stop Duffield Dynamos FC taking a shot. Improvements in PPFC's pressing game were clear to all, especially Jade and Holly who didn't give the opposition any time.
Any threat from Duffield was met by the safe hands of Nevaeh, in her first competitive appearance for PPFC. PPFC's midfield worked hard, with Macca playing that position for the first time with real energy and tenacity, in only her second game, and winning Player Of The Match.
At full time it was 0-0 and went to penalties. It took nine penalties in a thrilling shoot-out to separate the two teams. Despite losing so narrowly, PPFC went home very happy with their performance and all their mates!
