Team talk before the game was lots of effort from the first whistle. Dribble into space and look for the pass. Pass into open space for a teammate to run onto. Close down, delay and not dive in , and look where the opposition are going to pass too - proactive game awareness.

And a couple of individual targets including for Greta to try and knock the opposition off balance with a nudge when shoulder to shoulder.

Team worked hard to deliver the above and had numerous chances at goal resulting from some really nice play. And above all that, we saw some really well delivered crosses. Isabella on her left foot crossed brilliantly, similarly Edie, Jess and Myah were very good in this respect too sending dangerous balls into the area.

Coalville play a division higher than us, so it’s a really good achievement to control the game like we did. And even though we swapped players out of position, we still had the edge over them. Always love seeing Sofia play outfield, again a good strong performance. Goal scorers all brilliant - could quite easily have been many more.

Big shout out to Layla playing C/B (F/H) and G/K (S/H) in this one. And also Zoe for another outstanding performance in any position including C/B. Can’t not mention Iysla, last couple of games absolutely brilliant - she’s settled back in and we are so pleased to see her happy and enjoying her football. So many players really excelled today, so I gave the honour of choosing P of the M to Carole - she choose Edie :)
