The game started evenly, with both teams looking to attack and create chances. The Jaguars competed well, but two late goals in the first half gave Coalville the advantage going into the break.
Early in the second half a penalty extended Coalvilleās lead, but the Jaguars showed great determination. Zara went close when she broke through 1v1 only to be denied by the keeper, before Rose gave the Jaguars a deserved goal with a brilliant run through the defence and a cool finish into the far corner.
The team continued to push forward, but after conceding a fourth and suffering a couple of injuries, momentum swung back to Coalville. A few late goals made the scoreline harsher than the overall performance suggested. Player of the match was Evelyn, who never gave up in defence and continues to show excellent progress.
There were plenty of positives to build on as the Jaguars look to bounce back next week, when they play Gresley Rovers Ravens at the Racecourse Hub (ko 10am)
