The Jaguars produced an excellent team performance to come from behind and secure a deserved victory after a dominant second half display.

The Jaguars started brightly, pressing and working hard to win the ball across the pitch. Although the first half was competitive, it was the visitors who took the lead despite the Jaguars creating several good chances. Rose shot narrowly wide, Grace struck the crossbar, and Katie hit the post as we pushed for an equaliser.

Defensively, the Jaguars were outstanding throughout. Evelyn handled a difficult battle with the opposition centre forward superbly, while Ava, Amelia and Esther defended with composure and determination to limit clear chances. Alicia contributed with confident handling and several well-placed goal kicks to launch attacks from the back.

The midfield unit of Grace, Rose, Zara, Katie and Georgie worked tirelessly, winning possession repeatedly and linking play well between defence and attack. Their energy and teamwork began to take control of the game as it progressed.

After trailing 1–0 at half-time, the Jaguars responded immediately in the second half. Rose equalised with a lob over the goalkeeper after a strong attacking start. The pressure continued to build, with Zara going close on several occasions, before Rose scored again — bursting forward from midfield to finish confidently and give the Jaguars a deserved lead.

Amber led the line with relentless effort, pressing defenders, winning set pieces, and coming close to adding a third goal late on.

Player of the Match was awarded to Esther for a consistent and determined defensive performance that helped provide the platform for the comeback victory.
