In a closely contested game the Pumas came out on top courtesy of goals from Millie and Bella.

The Pumas were looking to get back to winning ways and started positively as Bella d Erin tested the keeper early.

The midfield of Dela, Millie, Bella, Marcie and Mineva worked tirelessly to restrict a decent Stapenhill team to little. Umayyah marshalling the back along with Mineva, Ivy and Tayla ensured that Lily had a relatively quiet half and she only had to come and collect a few balls over the top.

Upfront, Sophie, Amaya, Enya and Erin were being constant pests, fighting to create chances for themselves and their team mates.

The opening goal came courtesy of a first of the season from Millie. Amaya, Sophie and Erin were all unlucky as the keeper made 3 saves but Millie following in from the edge of the box was not to be denied! Up and running the Pumas went for more, Millie again had one effort wide and one over and Sophie was really unlucky when her first touch just evaded her when in on goal and the keeper scrambled to stop her from a certain goal. Then came the decisive second goal. After a couple of corners, Bella stood over one from the left, she swung in a ball with pace and the defenders and keeper missed it as it went in at the near post.
At half time Bella T replaced Lily on goal. Stalenhill were causing more issues but Ivy, Umayyah and Tayla had the answers backed up by the impressive midfield of Dela, Bella, Millie, Mineva and Marcie. There were limited close chances for both teams in the second half as the girls closed out the game to get back to winning ways.
Some terrific individual performances all over the pitch but the unanimous decision from the parents was to name Dela their player of the match this week for an all round excellent performance.
