
Following the release of the East Midlands Regional League fixtures, Pride Park FC Women have their roadmap for an exciting debut campaign in Tier 6’s East Midlands Regional Women’s Football League (EMRFL).
The League season kicks off with an opening day trip to Sherwood Women. Game Day 2 will be a testing away game against last season’s runners up, Asfordby Amateurs. In October there are the first games against fellow promoted sides Thurmaston DPC and Oakham United, and the following month there is a match up against more familiar opposition Melbourne Dynamo.
Knockout & Cup Dates
Alongside the main league campaign, the team is set for cup action in three competitions - the Women’s FA Cup Preliminary Round on Sunday 23rd August is at Netherton United. In the event The Pride were to advance, 1st Round Qualifying is on Sunday 6th September. The second Sunday of each month is reserved for Regional League Cup Action, and the County Cup slot is the third Sunday of each month.
A New Era at Moorways
With a new management team of Kyle Nicholson (First Team Manager) and Mark Adey (Coach), andstepping up to Tier 6, the squad brings renewed focus and energy to Moorways.

The squad has been working hard throughout pre-season, and knowing who and when we play gives us an added impetus and focus as we get ready for the season to begin. It’s an exciting step up for the club, and we can’t wait to get started” said team manager Kyle Nicholson.
